Members’ Muck-In Sessions

We hold regular Member’s Muck-in Sessions when members can come along to give a hand with many conservation and maintenance tasks. They are from 9.30 to 12.30 on Saturdays.

The scheduled Muck-Ins are:

  • Saturday 12th September 2026
  • Saturday 3rd October 2026
  • Saturday 14th November 2026
  • Saturday 12th December 2026
  • Saturday 2nd January 2027

Please contact us to let us know if you intend to come so that we are able to let you have some pre-information particularly in relation to the tasks and what to bring etc – see contact.

AGM 27th October 2026

The High Batts AGM is at 7.15pm on Tuesday 27th October 2026 at Allhallowgate Church, Ripon.

The Trustees will report to the membership, and there will be elections for some places on the Board of Trustees.

A quorum of at least 10% of the membership is needed; proxy votes will be possible for those who cannot attend.

Chris Neave will give a talk about the work of Make It Wild, a nature restoration organisation based in North Yorkshire.

East Dales Ringing Group regularly undertake ringing surveys at High Batts usually at the weekends.

At certain sessions members are welcome to watch and get close to the birds that are ringed, and EDRG will be happy to talk about their activities.
