(Originally posted March 2019). We had a really successful Muck-in Morning on 9th March 2019.
Seventeen members turned up in the damp and drizzle, and donned yellow jackets for a session of cutting back around the Mound viewing area and the silt pond at the northern end of the Reserve.
By the end of the morning, we had created a viewing area for monitoring by the species monitors for both the IATS project and the BTO WeBs counts.
Meanwhile, Arthur cleaned up and oiled tools back at the barn. The sun came out, and everyone seemed to enjoy their morning’s exertions. Many thanks to all for your efforts.
