High Batts volunteers have been undertaking regular trapping sessions at the Reserve and on 1st August had a mega event with 7 traps in use. The results were excellent with 196 species identified, 21 new to HIgh Batts and 3 new to the Vice-county area. A very successful and enjoyable event for all involved, and what beautiful creatures as you can see from Trevor Baker’s photos below.
