Seventeen members came along for the Muck-In Morning to help with tasks including fence-painting, erecting supports and weaving willow fencing, reclaiming stakes and sorting tree-guards, and moving the mobile hide.

Saturday 27th March was bright and breezy. Volunteers cheerfully tackled tasks including coppicing and fence-painting. Caroline kindly brought along some surplus food from Ripon Community House, which was much appreciated.

Covid Restrictions Begin to Ease
Muck-In Sessions With the beginning of easing of lock down we are able to plan some Members’ Muck-In sessions, to give us a bit of a boost, as our maintenance work is behind schedule because our volunteer teams have been much reduced.
Storm Christophe
High Batts had to close on 20th January 2021 when Storm Christophe brought flooding to the Reserve. It reopened again on 27th January 2021.
The Reserve is open again
High Batts is open again following the flooding just after Christmas. It’s rather muddy in places so please take care when visiting.
Muck-In 19th December 2020

Re-opening of the Reserve
